Throughout the whole adventure she demonstrates that she doesn't care about the world and only focuses on the individuals she meets. Why is she suddenly saying that? She's been shown as not caring at all about this dark world thing for most of it and only started caring a little bit at the end because of Lancer. Then, as you approach the fountain, she muses about how they might have stumbled upon something 'really important'. This is a very out-of-character reaction for her as she's been shown up until now as generally uncaring and blunt. So Suzy sees that Raslei looks exactly like Kris' brother and, instead of commenting on that, she just get startled and cuts things short. Suzy obviously recognizes him as someone she knows.Įverybody else look like their Undertale counterpart. Now, even though we haven't seen this universe's Asriel, everything points to Raslei looking exactly like him : She reacts in a very strange way: she seems startled, cuts the conversation short then doesn't discuss it at all with Kris. This theory starts with what I feel is a major plot point : Suzy's reaction to Raslei revealing what he looks like without his hat. And Toriel saying he's 'coming over next week' is more of a delusion than a reality. Why make such a statement so onimous? Well, I have a growing suspicion that Asriel isn't, in fact, okay. Oddly enough, she mentions that at the end, right before the happy little introduction to the town (and the game) plays out, giving it an uncanny weight. However, right after Toriel mentioned that, she moderates herself by wondering if he would still really want to come back to such a boring old town.

Many townfolks and Toriel herself tell Kris that Asriel is in college and, according to the latter, 'coming over next week'. Making this thread to share my observation regarding Asriel and his (most likely) Dark World counterpart : Raslei Beware, wall of text incoming.
